About Us
Justin and Heather Bailey began Woodlot Artisans in 2015, as a husband and wife carving team and opened Woodlot Artisans Chainsaw Art Gallery and Studio in November of 2016- January 2017 in Pelham, AL. Through that amazing experience they have become well known across Alabama and into surrounding areas.
Now focused on events and custom sculpture the duo is determined to leave their mark on the world. Look out for them at art shows and partnering businesses, chances are they will have a chainsaw in their hands doing demonstrations or teaching classes.
With over 15 years of combined experience, Justin and Heather's customized sculptures are always in high demand. WA is dedicated to bringing out the beauty in all species of wood.
What We Do
Woodlot Artisans often works with clients, contractors, interior designers, and architects to create naturalistic construction, custom sculpture, on-site sculpture, spiral staircases, newel posts, gazebos, doors, mantels, back splashes, railings, and even furniture.
Overall, we are creative and constantly look for ways to challenge ourselves and do something unique and exciting. With that spirit comes the desire to transform logs into anything and everything! Give us your next artistic project.
These days the word Artisan is rarely used. We have so many manufacturers and mass produced products, there are few that have the ability, tools, and room to produce unique projects. We realized a long time ago that we could fill a niche in the market after meeting countless contractors and architects that had ideas, but no one to fulfill their orders. Not all craftsmen are artisans.
