The Tinglewood Festival

Every year we do this festival in Montevallo, AL. It is centered around Orr Park. The cool part about this festival is that it started with Tim Tingle, he was a local who started carving the cedar trees that were dead in the part and putting fun creatures and faces all over the place. It is fun to see where they are as you walk around the park that has a lovely stream running though it. It is the perfect place to hold a yearly festival and when we opened our gallery back in 2016, talk began to put the festival in place and draw more wood workers in. It is one of the largest festivals of it's kind and it is wonderful how they highlight all kinds of wood working, have a classic car show and have live entertainment during the day.

If you are a woodworker or love all things wood, this festival is for you! Download the application to apply!
